This special Ichiro’s Malt & Grain was bottled for Claude Whisky in Japan. For these special world blends, Ichiro Hido (founder of the Chichibu Distillery) visits the largest whisky producing countries each year to hand select the best casks. The whisky is then further aged in wine casks from the Bordeaux region after a perfect blend of Scottish, Irish, American, and Canadian casks, as well as Chichibu Distillery’s whisky.
With only 270 bottles sold, Ichiro’s Malt & Grain Cask #11955 is a rare treasure coveted by collectors and connoisseurs. Each bottle is a unique expression of Ichiro Hido’s artistry and passion for whisky, making it an essential part of any discerning whisky lover’s collection.
At BAR Shinkai, each glass is available for 45ml: 6,270 yen, 30ml: 4,180 yen, and 15ml: 2,090 yen.
