Glenmorangie Spice is a single malt whisky born from the inspiration of Dr Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie’s Master Distiller and Head of Production, drawn from his travels to renowned spice destinations worldwide. Several years ago, Dr Ramsden first experimented with maturing whisky in Moroccan red wine casks, becoming captivated by the rich, expansive spice notes that developed. His subsequent exploration led to the creation of a complex, deep, and mosaic-like single malt, achieved by combining Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, new charred oak casks, and shaved and toasted red wine casks.
