Tasting Notes

Flavor	Wonderfully aromatic, with a hint of honey, hazelnut, mandarin orange, and soft, sweet toffee.Top notes of sweet, ripe barley, followed by baked peach.When watered, the wine has a flint-like minerality along with honeysuckle and jasmine flower-like aromas.
Taste	A gentle, spicy mouthfeel leads to sweet and spicy flavors of heather honey, gingerbread, hazelnut praline, fudge, toffee, and a slight clove.The nuttiness from the Amontillado sherry casks is always present, but gently rounds out the other sweet flavors.The aftertaste is of almond marzipan, coconut, and finally fruit loaf.
Aftertaste	Creamy and spicy, with gingerbread, hazelnut, and a lingering toffee finish.
