Hombo Shuzo Corporation, which produces Single Malt Komagatake 2023 Edition, is a Kagoshima Prefecture company that mainly produces shochu. It has a long history in whiskey, having obtained a whiskey production license in 1949.

Features
This whisky has a rich, tea-like aroma and a harmonious, full-bodied flavor reminiscent of ripe persimmons.
“Single Malt Komagatake” is produced at the Mars Shinshu Distillery, located at the foot of Mt. Komagatake in the Central Alps, which is surrounded by high-quality water and rich nature.
The 2023 Edition is a single malt whiskey bottled in a limited edition 2023 bottle with a balanced vatting of bourbon barrel, sherry cask, and port cask aged base spirit.
